Sun Tunnels / Sky Pipes / Light Tubes

We supply and fit flexible and rigid sun tunnels.

A lot of people suffer from a lack of natural light in bathrooms, hallways, stairs, landings and bedrooms. If you have a room in your house that could do with more natural light a sun tunnel could be for you.

Pictured below is the actual difference a sun tunnel makes when fitted correctly. The following photo's have not been altered in any way and have no powered lighting.

In this case the customer initially came to us interested in a Velux window as she had lost the only bathroom window due to extensive house alterations.

Unfortunately it was not possible to fit a roof window due to internal and external complications, so we specified a rigid Velux Sun tunnel.

The natural light output being 60 to 100watts+ on a cloudy day and 200watts+ on a sunny day.

The external sun tube fits neatly on the exterior of the roof the dimensions being about 500mm X 500mm. Sun Tunnels otherwise known as sun tube, sky pipe, sun pipes, light tubes, sky tube, skytube or solar tunnel.
